The firmware DOES NOT REMEMBER THE VIDEO SETTINGS when powered off/on. I manually set the video resolution to 1080i 60Hz, and RGB low. However,these next two items are the real problem and have been present in every firmware released (1.03.29, 1.03.39, 1.03.43, 1.03.49, and 1.04.10)… Although this is a problem, it is OK because no one expects the HDMI handshaking to work with every TV. About 50% of the time the WD box powers on set at 720p instead of 1080i (my TV does not support 720p).
